For the first time since 1981, Oregon’s Political Party $3 Check Off is back on your Oregon tax form with a new dollar amount.

When you file your 2009 taxes using Form 40, invest in your values. It’s easy. Just indicate a political party on Line 70 (see a full list of codes or refer to your tax form), and the state will send $3 of your rebate to the party of your choice.

The political party $3 check-off is a contribution. Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Your contribution will be used in connection with federal elections and is subject to limitations and prohibitions of the Federal Election Campaign Act.
